This movie tells the story of three men (played by Mark Ruffalo, Tim Robinson and Josh Gad) through their friendship and their struggles. It’s also about how they are better when they are together than as individuals. It is a life-changing journey filled with laughter and surprises, yet there is a sense of realism, like these are people we know. It’s funny, clever and dramatic – uncomfortable comedy mixed with serious drama – and also heart-breaking.
A bonus is the music – there are many songs, including some nice pop songs and originals, but the ones I like best are the two classical pieces by J S Bach Partita No 1 (piano solo) and Felix Mendelssohn’s Symphony No 4.
I enjoyed this movie so much that I watched it a second time!
