Of New Year resolutions

A classic one is ‘exercise’

Then comes the realisation

That it may all end up with sighs

Keeping to fitness routines

Is also a mental tonic

Better than any vaccine

To cure ailments that are chronic

Be active and start moving

Soon it will become a habit

It is fun and engaging

Once you’ve decided to commit

It’s equally important

To ensure a balanced diet

The results won’t be instant

But others will be inspired
