This book by Sharon Sala is the third story in the ‘Blessings’ series. (The first, You And Only You, is about the faithfulness of friends and family; the second, I’ll Stand By You, is about how people start life on the wrong foot.)
This book is about what matters in life: redemption, forgiveness and trust. It is a story of the times, and yet timeless in its simplicity.
Though it is heartwarming, I think I’ll not read Sala for a while because her recent books seem not to be as pacy and exciting as the earlier ones. The ending is also too neat – all hearts healed, all feuds end, the past and present sealed in holy matrimony.
