The Present

The night is long,

I can’t fall asleep;

I count backwards

from one thousand sheep.

I’m all alone,

more and more depressed;

Daybreak will come,

I don’t want regrets.

I’ll see sunlight

when morning is here;

Though it may rain,

flowers are in bloom.

I’ll be flying

along with the winds;

with excitement

and enthusiasm.
