Tang Poem : Mountain Trail

This is my first attempt at translating a Tang Poem into English:

Mountain Trail

High up the cold and narrow path,

So winding and rocky,

Beyond the white, soaring clouds

Are residences indistinct.

Pause to admire the beauty

Of maples at nightfall:

The leaves lucent and lustrous,

More radiant that February blooms.
