Untitled Poem

Du Fu (712-770) is another Tang poet who wrote so many poems that he did not give all of them ‘proper’ titles, which I’ve translated as Untitled. Here’s one:

Blue is the river,

White are the birds;

Green is the mountains,

Red are the flowers.

Spring has come,

And passed.

When then,

Can I return?
