Reminiscence In A Tower

This is a Tang Poem by a poet called Zhao Xia (806-853):

Reminiscence In A Tower

Alone and a million miles away,

Climbing a tower by the riverside;

The moonlight resembles the water,

And the water resembles the sky.

We both admire the moon the same way,

But my companion is nowhere near;

The scenery in front of me

Is so similiar to last year’s.
