Rainy Days

The sky has been weeping,

And my heart starts drizzling;

An umbrella opens up memories,

Of which yours is a masterpiece.

This street is familiar –

Our footsteps in my ears;

The chilly wind sends kisses to my face,

Reminding me of us in embrace.

On rainy days like this,

We shared many a misty morn;

Alas, down the pike I was abandoned,

When you decided to abscond.

My world’s now in a jam,

But I will be a champ;

Like how the rain will eventually cease,

Clear and sunny days I will seize.
