When I bought this puzzle, I did not pay attention to the fine prints (including the weird ‘use with both hands and brain‘ statement and the country of origin). I concentrated on selecting a most doable picture. (There were a few other puzzles in this series.) I’m glad I bought only one. The quality is very disappointing.
I have never spent so much time on completing a 1,000-piece puzzle. (I lost track but I think it was 10-15 hours altogether, over three days.) The complexity of the puzzle is not an issue (so perhaps there are 8-year-olds out there who are able to complete it); the problem is the flimsy pieces. I spent almost as much time refitting the joined pieces as I did in looking for the ‘missing’ pieces because they neither interlock well, nor do they stay in place. (Except when the entire puzzle is complete.)
As usual, I had a lot of fun. (Even though it’s highly unlikely I would want to redo this puzzle or buy any of the others in this series.)
Florence I marvel at your patience. Continue doing what you enjoy.
Cheers
Mary
